CROSSROADS FOOD PANTRY
_____________
The Crossroads Food Pantry, a group of volunteers that meet every other Saturday, from 10 AM until 1 PM, they gather, bag, and distribute packaged foods to the needy. This allows seniors, children and working adults to enjoy a more balanced diet than they might have otherwise. Last year, we served almost 17,000 New Yorkers with our food parcels. Volunteers are encouraged to come to McCaffrey Hall (located below the church) and will be put to work immediately.
We accept gently used clothing at McCaffrey Hall at Holy Cross Church on alternate Saturdays of the month between 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Crossroads Food Pantry reaches out to feed the homeless, children, the elderly, the disabled, residents of single room occupancy buildings and the working poor and newly arrived immigrants. Our program serves those in need of food regardless of race, religion, age, or sexual orientation. You must live in the area to be eligible. |
